Re: Disenchanted Drum Beat Posted by: Connor - Wubway on: 2021-10-11 07:10:29
Hey man, this sounds like am awesome gift. I can't be of help myself, but I do happen to know that Jack is on twitter so if push comes to shove ask him yourself, his username is just plain @JackGreigo.

I hope you can figure it out, and if you do and it's not to deeply personal I hope you'll share it with us all. You two with your story can probably do the song justice better than anyone save the band members themselves. Having scruffy midi drums is inconsequential at the end of the day because the emotions projected through the music is what will make it something great.
Disenchanted Drum Beat Posted by: Kevin on: 2021-10-10 13:54:07
I've been trying for some time to record a cover of Disenchanted as a gift for my wife (it's "our song"). I've got the guitar and bass figured out, but I can not for the life of me get the drums. I've never been able to play drums, and apparently I'm not good at programming them either. Anyone here a drummer or good at programming midi have any tips for figuring out the beat of Disenchanted? The part that I believe is Jack riding the high hat open and closed is incredible and makes the song, but I have no idea how to replicate that especially. I know it is a long shot, but figured this was as good a place as any to ask.
