Here's some tracks sent in from Scott Cohen. If anyone knows how, you can try to chop these up into tracks and send em back. Here's a small description of the files in an email from Scott: -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Hi Josh - I'm uploading several things. There are several large MP3 files, but I don't have a sound editor - if you don't mind chopping them up, that's cool, or if you could point me to where to download a free MP3 editor, that'd be cool too. Here's a listing of what's what: Rock 104 Interview Pt. 1: (There appear to be gain problems during the recorded performances, and the bass comes through somewhat distorted. They also have much different lyrics than the versions on Baypath Rd.) Interview R.O. Interview Unicycle Interview Kaberet Interview Kill the Birds Interview Pt. 2 Go On Up Interview Pt. 3 Flagboy Early Demos: these are songs recorded in the basement of East Hall at UF. Jack, Travis and Bill, with a handy drum machine. These are of interest only to the archivists, but some of them are hysterical. This is when they were calling themselves the Fully Gnarlies. The Only Two (early version of Nathaniel's Song) Free (early version of Plymouth) Softly My Girlfriend's Mom/Psychorats of Beantown Sunshine (with Travis on lead) Strange Tales (this one's just weird) Pewter Tankards and Lavender Satchels: the second Fully Gnarlies compilation. Recorded all over the place, most likely in their dorm rooms. Also, the tape was slightly warped, and it was already third-generation, so the quality isn't the best. Mountain Climbing (the grand orchestral music at the end is because Bill recorded this for me over a Bible stories tape and it broke through, but it makes a nice effect.) Our Times Doppleganger Burning Coals (very early version) Pork Barrel Blues (also known as the Blues Jam from the Rose's show) Preschool Days Los Tres Pintos Last Night I Dreamt (possible Paul Simon cover?) Basketball (complete with pizza delivery interruption) The Last Great Wonder Funk Jam I don't know if the stuff on Early Demos or Pewter Tankards is really...well, release-ready, but I figured I'd upload it, since it's a part of their history, and especially because it shows off their humor. Thanks, and I hope you like it! - Scott
